Drowning in Debt News Article Revisited

While browsing to my stack of Sunday newspapers, a prominent newspaper had an article about drowing in debt and giving advice on how to save.

Though I sincerely believe in frugality and their intentions of giving sound financial advice, we should be reminded on how to be very careful when we at media create information to consumers. The working class especially is very ideologically incline in the power of information.

What I mean is that when we focus on educating people to use let's say debit cards, let us not forget what is true frugality. Maybe, Cash spending and plastics also impact our initiatives to save the environment. Another area, I have seen which was number one was eating at home than eating out when government is trying it's best to fixed the so-called recessionary syndromes by asking people to use consumer spending. For me, it is not about spending but let us not forget marginalized sectors like the disabled and very chronically ill/senior humans. What about if it we say take care of ourselves first and what about if with wise spending we can find affordable eating places based on our daily budget.

Then comes what and where to spend. Did we forget the subject called "Saving" which is more liberal and economical.

Richness comes with greatness and physically fit body, soul and mind. You can give all the education to the consumer but you cannot teach humility towards oneself and avoidance of materialism, a culture within all of us.

My only take is that as journalist and media information dessimination entities, let us also look at sustainable growth on the whole embodiment of a person.

But as earlier mentioned, I do see the positive motiff of this article. All I am after is to clarify the exact consciousness of the article. Otherwise, we cannot "recycle" the information.
