Why Disability laws are not "just" sometimes

Blogging is a way of personal freedom of expression on the views that affect people.

Part of the reasons why this blog was initially started was because of the hard circumstances that as author and other disabled individuals are undergoing due to their disability.

With the many facets of the medical, physical, mental, emotional and other health related issues, most of the problems that people with disabilities faced sometimes are legalities or the system it self.

Sometimes it's really funny why even TV advertisements' are made to challenge people who do not really honor the rights of people with disabilities. There are times even a chronically ill individual cannot even enjoy a peaceful remaining lifetime just because they cannot be given their disability benefits. For the most part, the big chunk of the game involves "money".

Forget about one's personally health condition but factor in the broken system. There are sometimes more loopholes just to deny or even grant approved disability benefits.

What needs to happen now is that the simple change of looking at this wrong loopholes for chronically ill people. Respect these people's dignity and remaining lifetime. Just like the saying we celebrate life when someone is gone to remember them but not when they were still alive and they needed help.

As the affordable health care for everyone is right now being discussed at this moment, why can't government maybe just look into the disability law challenges for people who have chronic illness? Then perhaps affordable health care can start with Social Security Disability Income? Why are some of these approved benefits not being given to really deserving ill individuals? What are these loopholes supposed to be in the disbaility income system? When will the real change begin so that the really needy people can be helped in this helpless plight. Do we have to wait again for another election so that issues can be opened up again for the poor and disabled?
